One of the Luxe homes of the week: Oil Nut Bay

On Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands, within sight of Branson’s Necker Island, the American property developer David V Johnson has invested heavily in the infrastructure of his five-star resort, Oil Nut Bay. Johnson campaigned for years to get a local landing strip and added the region’s only heliport certified for international arrivals.

Oil Nut Bay is on a 400-acre site with a 101-slip marina. It has fitness and spa facilities, restaurants and 180 sites for private residences (68 of them have been sold). Plot prices range from $1.95 million to $29.5 million, with fully furnished
homes from $3.65 million to $27.5 million.
