The new venue will offer delightful wellness experiences and 360-degree views of the surrounding sea

Oil Nut Bay, the exclusive resort on Virgin Gorda’s North Sound, has announced the opening of Sundara Spa + Studio, the first overwater spa in the area. The serene retreat offers guests a transformative wellness experience suspended above the Caribbean Sea.

The Cliff Suites, a modern, multi-story coastal house with large windows and terraces, is perched on a rocky cliffside overlooking the ocean. The sun casts a warm light on the house and surrounding vegetation. The sky is clear with a few scattered clouds.

A luxurious bedroom at The Cliff Suites boasts glass sliding doors that open to a patio with lounge chairs, offering a scenic view of rocky cliffs and the ocean. The room features a neatly made bed, a wall-mounted TV, a chair near the window, and a dresser with a plant on top.

Sundara, meaning ‘beautiful’ in Sanskrit, features two treatment rooms with floor-to-ceiling glass and underwater windows, immersing guests in the marine environment. The spa offers therapies including massage, stretch, skin treatments and infrared therapy. A flexible studio space accommodates yoga, Pilates and guided meditation sessions, with glass walls providing nearly 360-degree panoramic views. Complementing the spa, Oil Nut Bay has introduced new luxury villas, including Wings—a seven-bedroom estate with private plunge pools, outdoor showers and kitchenettes in each suite.

An infinity pool at Oil Nut Bay overlooks a scenic coastal vista in the British Virgin Islands, with two lounge chairs and a small table with drinks on a stone patio. The background features a serene ocean, rocky hills, and a partly cloudy sky at either sunset or sunrise. It’s the perfect home away from home.
