Marina Village Re-opens!

ONB Marina Village

Oil Nut Bay’s Marina Village in the heart of the North Sound is back and better than ever! What’s new? What’s not? While visitors are still blessed with the same superb location and wholehearted warm welcome, the Marina Village itself has evolved significantly since its inception almost three years ago.

Yes! You can make it through the Channel!

Despite wide-spread belief, the channel to Oil Nut Bay’s state-of-the-art marina is well marked, lit at night, and navigable for most charter boats. The Marina itself includes 100 berths that are perfectly situated in the natural harbor of Deep Bay. Secure alongside mooring can accommodate yachts up to 130 feet (40 meters) with a draft of up to eight feet (2.4 meters). The berths at Oil Nut Bay Marina are privately owned but are also available for nightly reservations. Mooring Balls are available in Deep Bay on a first-come-first-serve basis with ten balls for boats up to 60 feet (18 meters) and one mooring ball for boats up to 120 feet (36.5 meters). To protect the delicate marine environment, Oil Nut Bay highly discourages anchoring in the surrounding area. The property’s dedicated Dock Master provides concierge Marina services, including top-notch utilities, double reverse osmosis potable water, ice, provisioning services and a helipad accommodating two twin-jet helicopters for residents and guests. Deep Bay has two access routes all mapped out – one for regular draft vessels and another for those that require a little more draft than usual. Request yours from info@oilnutbay.com.

Food For The Soul

The Marina Village’s signature restaurant, Nova, has always been a feast for every sense. With the sun on your skin, the wind in your hair and the tropical scent of the salty sea surrounding you, it is a locale that both invigorates and unwinds. Nova now offers two menus – one for All Day Dining and one for Sunday Brunch. Both boast global dishes bursting with fresh flavors and featuring the highest quality ingredients that are locally grown and procured whenever possible. The selections are sumptuous. Caviar and calamari, foie gras in a jar, a wide range of salads, carpaccio, ceviche, tacos, and burgers, as well as stunning signature sushi boats. Loaded with a variety of seafood and vegetarian rolls, nigiri, sashimi, tartare, ceviche and the most delicious wakame salad, each picture-perfect boat is a certified crowd pleaser. Fear not – the favorites remain available. Copper Pot Cauliflower, the Nova Burger and the decadent ham and cheese Croquettes are going nowhere. Pair your meal with a handcrafted cocktail or bottle of bubbles or wine from the bar’s thoughtfully curated collection. Post-feast lounging can be relished in overwater hammocks and daybeds, or while floating in the suspended pool. Nova is now open daily from 11.30AM to 8.30PM, and on Sundays from 10.30AM to 8.30PM.

Shop ’til You Drop

Follow the scent of freshly brewed java beyond Nova and discover a boutique Coffee Shop and Provisioning Market. The latter still stocks a great select of wines and spirits, gourmet condiments and essentials, but has added to its offerings some tantalizing to-go goodies. Hand-rolled sushi, crunchy salads, delicious wraps and filled croissants, sweet and savory pastries, brownies and frosted cupcakes… the list goes on. Beyond the market is luxurious Luna Boutique. Dreamed to life by well-known and respected boutique retail whizz Roy Keegan, Luna is inspired by the BVI’s vibrant island culture and stocked with a range of brilliant brands. Browse resort, beach and evening wear, swimwear, accessories, jewelry, gorgeous gifts, and keepsakes. Luna is proud to represent a number of the BVI’s most talented designers and artists. Searching for some ONB branded gear? Just across the way is Deep Bay Watersports, stocking a range of branded resort wear, watersports apparel and swimwear. As the name suggests, this is also the center for all things aquatic. Headed up by local kiting legend Tommy Gaunt, Deep Bay Watersports offers private kite surfing and foiling lessons as well as watersports equipment hire.

Spoil Yourself at the Spa

Oil Nut Bay’s sensational new day spa is currently under construction, with completion anticipated in the Spring of 2022. The decadent space will include multiple treatments rooms, both for private and couples’ massages, manicure and pedicure stations, and a hair salon. The surrounding area will be lushly landscaped and peppered with secluded balconies, outdoor showers, and spaces in which to relax and soak in the serenity. Get ready for signature treatments, pampering products and a reawakening of the mind, body, and soul. A short walk from Nova, the Spa will be open to all by reservation.
