Art enthusiasts will delight in the many original works that adorn Xela, from a custom mural painted right on site by the renowned Oklahoma-born, New York-based artist, John Paul Phillippe, to ceramic works by Dallas-based artist Matthew Gilley. The villa is also the permanent home to the electrifying “Birds in Paradise,” a neon multimedia installation by Jacolby Satterwhite that is currently on loan to the Museum of Modern Art in Denmark for a limited time. Look beyond the array of inspirational art, and Xela is also home to a collection of luxurious interior appointments that make living here a true indulgence, including a modern kitchen designed and built by bespoke Brazilian design firm, Ornare, featuring top-of-the-line appliances by Thermadore and Sub-Zero. Elegant furnishings by the RH Modern design team round out the living spaces, while on the outdoor terrace, the dramatic wrap-around pool affords sweeping 180-degree views of the lush landscape.
