Clyde Lettsome

Clyde Lettsome

Director of Governmental & Community Affairs & Human Resources

Clyde is responsible for governmental and community relations. He joined us after 28 years with the local government, where he worked various positions including all Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health and Welfare and Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour. Clyde is also Director for the North Sound Foundation in charge of community support and ongoing relief efforts.

Jennifer Merriman

Vice President & Legal Counsel

Jennifer has served as Vice President and General Counsel since 2009. She is integrally involved in the company’s daily and long-term business operations, is directly responsible for all legal matters and has successfully negotiated and closed over $300 million of real estate sales. Jennifer currently resides in Virgin Gorda with her husband, Andrew, their mischievous Goldendoodle, Norman, and their daughter, Stella, the beloved granddaughter of Pamela and David V. Johnson.

Emily Oakes

Vice President of Business

Emily is responsible for the resort  operations and business management for Oil Nut Bay.  She first joined the team in 2012 and helped build Oil Nut Bay into what it is today. Originally from Napa Valley, California, Emily brings extensive experience in luxury brand and hospitality management. She currently lives in Leverick Bay with her two children and husband.

Mark Moore

Vice President, Director of
Purchasing & Logistics

Mark brings with him over 20 years experience with Victor International. He oversees purchasing, logistics and development as well as leads the architectural review boards for all Victor International properties. Mark has worked for David V. Johnson for almost thirty years and is accompanied by his wife, Sarah, who acts as Executive Assistant to the Chairman.

Nicolas Welch

Villa & FACILITIES Director

Nicolas Welch comes to us with a distinguished career in Villa Management, managing 5 star properties on St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Mustique and St. Lucia. Nic’s goal is to ensure that our owners’ investments are maintained at the highest level of service and standard and to ensure that both they and our rental guests have a pristine villa experience.

Vinod Biscette

IT Manager

Vinod nurtures our technological changes as the team’s Information Technology Manager. With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Vinod brings a mature approach to the dynamic technology needs of this community and our team. His main focus is to source and implement technology solutions that elevate our team’s service excellence.

Anica Roch

Hospitality Manager

Anica Roch joins the team as the Hospitality Manager, overseeing the guest services, reservations, and housekeeping teams. Originally from Germany, Anica completed her hospitality studies in her home country but has spent the last decade working abroad. Outside of her passion for working in hospitality, Anica enjoys cooking, playing tennis, and staying active.

Kinga Lach

Guest Services MANAGER

Kinga is responsible for all front desk and concierge operations, as well as ensuring that your every need is taken care of. Her passion for adventure brought her here from Poland in 2016. With 10 years experience in hospitality, Kinga brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. Outside of work you will find her kitesurfing or with her rescue pup, Luna.

 Kevin Benjamin

Housekeeping SUPERVISOR

Kevin began his career with Victor International as a Houseman at Biras Creek in 2007, and has been an integral part of the team ever since. He currently heads up Oil Nut Bay’s Housekeeping and Laundry Department. His extracurricular passion? Music! When he’s not working alongside his accomplished team to ensure all villas and suites are spotless, he can likely be found in DJ Flava-mode spinning some Socca tunes down at Nova.

Mincanton Laurent

Maintenance MANAGER

Dominica-born ‘Minchie’ relocated to the BVI in 2008, where his first undertaking was to build the Oil Nut Bay Arrival Dock. Over 12 years, he has been an integral part of the Construction, Maintenance and Grounds Teams, working his way into management. Minchie’s technical and mechanical expertise are invaluable in maintaining a flawless environment for all our guests and homeowners.

Alan Larch

Food and Beverage Director

Born, raised, and trained as a chef in London, Alan entered the hospitality industry at the age of 15 and has yet to look back. His distinguished culinary career has taken him from Europe to Africa, Southeast Asia to Australasia, and on to the Caribbean where he has been for the past two-plus decades. With Head Chef and managerial experience at notable brands such as Raffles, Mandarin Oriental, Oetker, and Fairmont, Alan has discovered a love of life on luxury remote islands and thrives in challenging unique environments.

Jania Drakes

Reservations Manager

Jania is originally from Barbados but grew up in Miami and New York. She Obtained a master’s degree in Tourism Studies with a Concentration in Marketing. She brings almost 13 years of managerial experience working in Guest Relations, Front Office, Sales and Events at 5 star resorts in the Caribbean to her most recent post as Reservations Manager at Oil Nut Bay. Jania is a foodie at heart and enjoys traveling, art, dancing, music and soccer.
