Today, Victor International announced the addition of Mike Lorence as the company's Vice President of Sales, a press release revealed.

According to the release, Lorence will oversee sales and marketing of Oil Nut Bay and North Sound Yacht Club in the British Virgin Islands (BVI), as well as Bay Harbor and Turtle Lake in Michigan.

During his tenure at Traditions, he has overseen $1.5 billion in sales. Previously, Lorence held senior sales positions at Discovery Land Company, and IMI Resort Sales. Lorence is also a member of the Urban Land Institute. He will split his time between Michigan and BVI.

Oil Nut Bay (ONB) recently brought on visionary Dr. Larry Oswald as Environmental Team Leader. Dr. Oswald spent the last 10 years at The Chrysler Corporation as CEO of Chrysler's Global Electric Motorcars LLC (GEM) subsidiary, growing GEM into a successful and profitable electric vehicle business, with nearly 37,000 vehicles sold world-wide during this time. Through Dr. Oswald's direction, ONB is setting a new standard in responsible, sustainable community developments.

Today, Dr. Oswald is funneling his passion for conservation, recycling and renewable energy generation into ONB by directing the planning, installation and operational assurance of ONB's integrated community services and energy management systems, making use of natures' abundance of energy - wind and sun. ONB is implementing a variety of eco-progressive initiatives such as using methane generated from organic waste to operate auxiliary energy generators, and capturing wind power to generate electricity for desalinization plants, air conditioning and refrigeration. Additionally, Dr. Oswald will advise ONB residents, and their builders, on how to plan and build structures to the highest levels of energy efficiency consistent with the total ONB community.

LEED certification, which includes a rigorous third-party commissioning process, offers four certification levels -- Certified, Silver, Gold and Platinum -- that correspond to the number of credits accrued in five green design categories: sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources and indoor environmental quality.

A new lifestyle destination has dawned. A mother beams with pride and her husband pats the child's head as he proudly shares with his parents the work of art that he just created out of recycled materials in the "Nut House". As mom, carefully tucks her son's incredible creation away, she smiles as the realization sets in that she will treasure it forever. As she wistfully looks out at the ocean's blue, she spots what appear to be her two older children as they are learning to wind-surf with the incredibly patient instructor whom they have come to adore. She laughs out loud, as she sees the sail topple over and imagines the determination on their sun-kissed faces. All the while, and unbeknownst to her, her husband is watching her, wishing he could freeze the moment in time, once again confirming that they made the right decision when they chose Oil Nut Bay for their home in the sun...

Monday, January 7, 2009, was a monumental day in the history of Victor International Corporation, Oil Nut Bay, and the British Virgin Islands! We are pleased to announce that in the company of the Premier, the Governor and the BVI Cabinet members, we broke ground on Oil Nut Bay, North Sound Yacht Club and the Oil Nut Bay Beach Club. The event, hosting nearly 50 dignitaries, took place on the new Oil Nut Bay beach and invited guests to tour the property and the Beach Villa. The groundbreaking ceremony was complete with the firing of a cannon, a yacht club tradition. On this auspicious occasion, Victor International received great praise...
